Kenton Louis Ebersold, 83, Union Star, died Monday, September 21, 2009.
He was born April 13, 1926 in the Orchid Community, Missouri, the son of Galen and Maxine (Moore) Ebersold.
On July 4, 1948, he married Betty Gibson in King City, MO. She survives of the home.
Kenton was a farmer. He served with the Army during World War II having served in the Phillipines and Japan. Kenton was an Oak Grove Cemetery board member, member of the American Legion and Odd Fellow Lodge of Union Star. He also served on the Polk Township and Union Star School Boards. Kenton was an elder of the Orchid Christian Church and taught Sunday School there.

Sisters: Hazel (Jay) Whorton, St. Joseph, MO and Barbara Romanzak, Ft. Meade, FL; and brother: Stanley (Ruth Ann) Ebersold, Trenton, MO;
18 grandchildren: Craig (Jennifer) Ebersold and Natasha (Damion) Moore; Brian (Shannon) Pottratz, Scott (Karen) Pottratz and Corey (Autumn) Pottratz; PFC Brianna Ebersold, Keaton Ebersold and Kendrick Ebersold; Hillary (Jason) Daniel, Heather Ebersold, Ashley (Brandon) Chaney and Brooke Ebersold; Jason (Heather) Mires, Anbur (Michael) Kovac, Annie Mires and Katie Mires; Kelsey Ebersold and Jessica Ebersold.
